David Harber to preview new sculptures at RHS Chelsea
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is just one of the highly anticipated events that feature on our British Summer Social Season Guide. The occasion is hugely popular for horticultural enthusiasts and those enjoying The Season.
This year, renowned sculptor and designer David Harber will once again exhibit his innovative and masterful creations. He will also be launching several new pieces exclusively at the show.
The Iris Torus
Among the striking sculptures will be Iris Torus. Iris Torus is an exciting new development of David Harber’s signature Stainless Steel Torus sculpture. This striking incarnation of Torus was inspired by the reflective facets of a cut diamond and the play between positive and negative and solid and void. The end result is dramatic, with the fragmented, laser-cut mirrored surface emulating the iris of an eye.
Made from beautiful mirror-polished stainless steel, the Iris Torus can be made in many sizes, with the interior of the piece toned with the painted mood colouring of choice.
The Chalice Fire Table
Another highlight from the collection is the Chalice Fire Table. This is an adaptation of the studio’s Chalice water feature. The Fire Chalice is a sophisticated design and garden centrepiece that marries the classical elements of water and fire.
