Best hotels in Lech | Easter Skiing Special
As part of our Easter Skiing Special we have been reporting live from the slopes in Lech am Arlberg. This chic Austrian ski resort has benefited from some fantastic late snowfall, which has meant that the conditions for winter sports are likely to be excellent right up until the end of the season on April 21st 2024.
There is still time to book a last minute flight to enjoy a long weekend in the resort and you can connect to Lech via road or helicopter transfer from Innsbruck and Zurich airports.

Hotel Arlberg Lech
Hotel Arlberg is located in the centre of Lech and it has long been a favourite among VIPs and members of the Royal Family. It was loved by Princess Diana and boasts excellent food, as well as easy access to the lifts. The Yurt is a fabulous winter pop up, which is run by Hotel Arlberg and featured in our highlights on Sloaney TV. It is an ideal place for a glass of champagne once you have packed away your skis.
Burg Hotel Oberlech
A little higher up into the hills is the stunning no-car ski village of Oberlech. This peaceful place offers the very best in terms of ski-in, ski-out. The Burg Hotel (pictured above) has excellent facilities, with an indoor swimming pool, large bar and atmospheric restaurant. There is also a lively outdoor apres ski bar to be enjoyed as well.
Hotel Goldener Berg

We have visited the Goldener Berg Hotel before and it has the most stunning sun terrace for enjoying lunch on a bright day. You need to book ahead because it is a very popular place to visit and it benefits from live music throughout the afternoon. The hotel has a brilliant wellness centre, with an outdoor hot tub and it also offers very good ski-in, ski-out.
Gasthof Post
The Gasthof Post is an exclusive five star property that is located back down in the city centre in Lech and always considered amoung the best hotels in Lech. It has been family owned for over 80 years and it is particularly famed for its cuisine. It is also a member of Relais and Chateaux, which ensures excellent standards throughout.
