The Sloaney travel team has been reporting live from the Ski Arlberg area during this year’s Easter Skiing Special, via our Instagram Stories. As followers of our Stories will have seen, conditions have been excellent for Easter skiing in Lech and Oberlech.

There has been fresh snowfall almost every evening and predominantly clear skies in the morning, with the exception of one day of almost full snow this week.

With the Easter holiday season arriving, many people have been booking last minute ski trips to Austria to make the most of the fresh snowfall. There is still time to book a seat on a plane and the Lech Zurs am Arlberg area will be open for Easter skiing in Lech until the 21st of April, allowing for plenty more opportunities to enjoy some winter sport in the spring sunshine.

Flights to Zurich are daily from London and other airports also take you to Innsbruck, where there is a slightly shorter transfer.

Meanwhile, Mountain Warehouse have some stock left for those looking to pick up some last-minute bargains. They have a particularly good range for children and we will be previewing some of the collection in our Little Sloaney pages soon (we have a sneak peek of the photoshoot on the piste below).

There are also some great products still available for adults, including stylish ski jackets and accessories. Even if you aren’t planning on heading away to the mountains this time around, it is worth browsing the website ahead of future trips.

Stay tuned to The Sloaney Instagram Stories during the Easter period for more live action from the slopes.

We will also have further features running as part of this year’s Easter Skiing Special in Lech. From family-friendly hotels, to the best skiwear for children, we have plenty more to come…
