Beat Dry January with Seedlip’s Terrace at Harvey Nichols
Look no further if you’re in need of some help to get you through dry January. Seedlip, the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic (yes that’s right, non-alcoholic) spirits brand has taken over the Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Terrace and are bringing something new to shake up the drinks market.
Drawing inspiration from his family’s farming heritage and his experience in the agency world building luxury brands, Seedlip’s founder, Ben Branson offers a solution to the problem of ‘what to drink when you’re not drinking’.
Created in a process similar to gin and served with tonics or mixed in a ‘mocktail’, there are two products in the range; SEEDLIP Spice 94 and SEEDLIP Garden 108. The first is an aromatic blend of individual bark, berry and citrus distillates, whilst the latter is a layered blend of homegrown hay, peas and traditional garden distillates. Both in its taste and packaging, Seedlip resonates with nature and provides a fresh, unique experience. Further still, in line with the recent zero sugar trend, the product boasts 0 calories, is sugar-free, sweetener-free and allergen free, making it the perfect, guilt-free alternative to alcohol.
The terrace, designed by Kit & Caboodle, is a botanical haven bursting with modern foliage, copper piping and a room dedicated specifically for tasting the spirits. The menus, designed for the Harvey Nichols collaboration by the talented artist Lucille Clerc, are in harmony with the terrace’s aesthetic and are works of art in their own right. With heaters and cosy pockets of space, this is the ideal place to catch up with a friend over Seedlip’s Sours, Martinis or even a Hot Toddie to beat the cold. Be sure to make a trip before it closes on the 5th February.
The terrace runs from 9 January – 5 February 2017, Monday – Saturday: 8am – 11pm Sunday: 11am – 6pm http://www.harveynichols.com/n
