A Long Weekend of Michelin-Starred Mountain Feasts in the Alps
Courmayeur Mont Blanc has announced the return of the Gourmet Ski Experience. It will take place from 22nd to 24th March 2024. Created by Momentum Experiences and Heston Blumenthal 9 years ago, this globally recognised foodie event has a renowned and well-deserved reputation for attracting outstanding chefs to Courmayeur’s gourmet haven.
This year, Gourmet Ski is presenting two distinct experiences, led by two of London’s top Michelin-starred chefs with international acclaim. This season’s edition welcomes back Jean-Philippe Blondet, the three-star Michelin Chef Patron of Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, for the second consecutive year. Joining him and returning to Courmayeur is Claude Bosi, the two-star Michelin Chef Patron of Bibendum, an elegant, bi-level eatery with Art Deco stained-glass windows offering French haute cuisine, as well as operating other iconic UK dining venues. Italian Chef Emin Haziri, renowned for his culinary prowess and recognised as one of Forbes’ prestigious thirty Under 30, will also be joining, showcasing the finest of Aosta Valley cuisine.
This year’s Gourmet Ski experience introduces a new Michelin-starred barbecue lunch and après ski with live entertainment, accommodating up to 150 guests – an event bigger than ever before, as well as a signature mountain tasting dinner at Les Dames Anglaises.
Courmayeur is situated on the Italian side of Mont Blanc and is a traditional yet sophisticated resort full of history and charm and surrounded by snow-draped mountain peaks. Working with local chefs, the Michelin-starred line up will create an incredible offering for the Gourmet Ski Experience. A unique addition to Courmayeur’s annual culinary month of Peak of Taste, the two come together to offer guests a refined taste of the Aosta Valley.
The Gourmet Ski Experience Agenda
This year, guests can choose from one or two experiences and curate their own agenda for the weekend, with events available to book separately, plus accommodation, flights, and transfers as potential add-ons to suit different budgets. When not attending an event, guests can make full use of all the activities on offer at the resort from dogsledding to skiing and snowshoeing.
