The London Cabaret Club celebrated the beginning of its glamorous summer pop up with a glittering event held at The Collection in South Kensington on Thursday 8th of May. In attendance were a host of high-profile media celebrities, such as Simon Cowell and his partner Lauren Silverman, who looked svelte in a black dress.

Donna Air wore Helmut Lang and Louis Walsh was also on the guest list, along with It girls Chloe Green and Millie Mackintosh.

With fantastic Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve cocktails on arrival and Moët & Chandon Champagne freely flowing, the scene was set for an evening of astounding cabaret. Pont St Restaurant lent its local chef Sophie Michell for the evening to provide glorious tapas and a beautiful three course dinner to accompany the show.

Dishes included Dorset crab, cider and honey glazed pork belly and lamb rump. The violet and rosewater macarons were particularly delicious.

The highlight of the event was without doubt the stunningly coordinated cabaret acts. Latin American and ballroom dancing was set to James Bond’s traditional theme music, as well as a selection of Bond film title tracks.

Amazing acrobats performed ribbon acts before two fabulous performances from Brian MacFadden and Alexandra Burke got the crowd to their feet. A tune-filled DJ set by Vogue Williams completed the occasion.

This is definitely one of London’s most impressive events. You can catch the summer pop up from The London Cabaret Club until the 31st of May 2014, which is hosting shows every Thursday through to Saturday. For lovers of skilled entertainment, this is a must-see.
