Gin has enjoyed a huge surge in popularity in recent years and it is the go-to tipple for many. Melifera is an artisanal gin, which has been created to provide a new tasting experience.

The unique blend elegantly captures the aroma of the immortelle flower and combines this with notes of juniper, cardamom, angelica and lime leaves to offer a delicate and fresh blend. This gin is perfect for those who want to enjoy an aromatic, yet crisp, tasting experience.

Melifera gin

The scent of the immortelle flower is found in the dunes of Ile d’Oléron, on the Atlantic coast of France, and this is the main inspiration for Melifera. The creator of this gin is Christophe Amigorena and he is committed to using sustainable methods of production, preserving biodiversity and supporting the Black Bee (Apis mellifera) Conservatory in Oléron, where the name Melifera comes from.

The yellow immortelle flower is the key feature of this gin. It boasts antioxidant properties and it is harvested by hand. It is the main distinctive ingredient that is present in the gin and this is what gives Melifera its unique taste.

Melifera gin can be enjoyed with large ice cubes and tonic water, but it also works well as part of the Army and Navy cocktail
