Chelsea Barracks Christmas Lights Switch On Event
Chelsea Barracks will host a wonderful Christmas lights switch on event. It will take place on the 1st December from 5:30-7:30pm, to celebrate the festive season with the local community.
The development will be transformed through a series of Christmas tree installations, which will be switched on whilst the English Chamber Choir and festive band will be keeping people entertained.
Chelsea Barracks has also invited local schools to take part in its first Christmas Tree-Topper competition, judged by a panel led by Chelsea Barracks’ tenant and famed jeweller Theo Fennell. The winners will have their design brought to life by being made into a real Tree-Topper, which subsequently, will be given pride-of-place and revealed on top of the Chelsea Barracks Christmas Trees during the lights switch-on community event.
Complimentary festive food and beverages will also be served; the scent of mulled wine, spiced drinks, mince pies and roasted chestnuts will fill the air, whilst children meet Father Christmas, sip hot chocolate and toast marshmallows.
