Whilst everyone loves the Sun, how many of us actually consider the long term damage that we are doing to our skin when sunbathing? I certainly didn’t until I met Mieke Morgan and discovered the Ellipse IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatment.
When the glowing tan and happy memories fade so does the production of collagen which leads to uneven pigmentation, redness and a lack of firmness. The Ellipse IPL skin rejuvenation treatment rejuvenates the skin by removing pigmentation, diffusing redness and leaving the skin feeling smoother and more even.

Whilst certain wavelengths of light can cause damage to the skin (sunlight triggers hyperpigmentation, premature ageing and burning), other wavelengths can be harnessed and engineered to fight the effects caused by that sunlight, so you’re essentially fighting light with light.

Ellipse uses Selective Waveband Technology – a patented wavelength of light that has the power to turn the clock back on the skin by using unique sub-millisecond pulses of light to reverse the effects of sun-induced damage. This versatile system can treat all summer induced concerns, ranging from skin conditions, including photo damage, dull skin and hyperpigmentation, broken capillaries, sun spots and freckles on the face, neck chest and hands.

The latest technology has made laser an increasingly popular choice to solve body blemishes but the best results require a few sessions and sun exposure is to be avoided in the 30 days afterwards therefore the winter/ autumnal months are an ideal time for this treatment.

The sensation experienced varies for clients depending on the amount of melanin in your skin. I personally found my second treatment stronger then my first and it could be described as  a strong heat sensation  on the skin whilst being applied. However, post treatment there was no redness or downtime, enabling you to get on with your day to day life with no side effects.

On average 1-3 treatments are recommended with a 4 week interval and no sun in between. However, I found results visible after my first treatment.

Prices start from £100 a session and last approximately 30minutes
