Get Clean This Winter – On The Inside And Out

By Natasha Eddery

Last month you may have read about the fantastic Fruveju Juice Cleanse I did. The cleanse will no doubt make you feel fantastic this winter, but if you really want to get your body clean and healthy this season it is probably best to start by taking a look inside your bathroom cabinet. When you have the time, take a look at the ingredients list on the back of your favourite day cream or shampoo. Be brave and look up a couple of the ingredients online or use the App ThinkDirty. I grantee you will be disgusted how many harmful and toxic chemicals your products are loaded with.

For some time now, I have been sourcing some of the best organic, and that’s 100% organic, products and supplements on the market. They are easy to get hold of and they will give you better results than those expensive creams that apparently turn back the clock on the aging process. Here are some of my favorite CLEAN products and supplements on the market…

The Best Shampoos

Rahua and Josh Rosebrook (100% natural, 100% vegan, free from gluten, synthetics, parabens and sulfates.)

Rahua – Shampoo and Conditioner (available on net-a-porter, and Amazon) I really struggled to find an organic shampoo that doesn’t leave your hair feeling heavy. When I found this shampoo I was very excited. Rahua is 100% natural, the formula is based on fortifying Amazonian nut oils, healing Quinoa that boosts moisture retention, while Coconut and Shea Butter remove dirt, oil and bacteria without stripping your hair.

Josh Rosebrook  – Deep Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner (available at Coming from LA where it is a favourite amongst the stars, this Shampoo is so clean and nourishing. The unique formula of gentle natural cleansers, botanical extracts, essential oils, active antioxidants and vital vitamins work in perfect synergy on the scalp and hair. is the only online store to stock it in the UK.

I find it is important to alternate shampoos during the week. My hair tends to get used to one product if I use it consecutively so I swap between Rahua and Josh Rosebrook – it’s the perfect balance for colour treated hair.

The Best Facemask

MIMI Green Gooddess – Whatever your skin type, this powerful detoxifying mask is incredibly gentle on the skin.
It contains French Green Clay, Rhassoul, Dead Sea Mud and Spirulina, which cleanses and softens the skin, leaving you looking beautiful. While it does takes 30 days for the skin to renew itself, using the Green GooddessMask you will notice the difference after just one treatment.

The Kit makes four treatments and includes:  Four pots of pre-measured clays and protein, green jasmine pearls,
oat protein, reusable hairband, reusable mixing pot, reusable spatula, cotton wool pads and instruction leaflet. It takes just three minutes to mix and you will look great without having to take a trip to your facialist – fabulous before a night out.

The Best Supplements

Aduna Moringa – Green Superleaf Powder is 100% organic, nutrient dense, whole food made from the naturally dried leaf of the moringa tree, which is known as the miracle tree due to its remarkable breadth of nutrients and benefits.

It is fabulous because it is a rich source of plant protein and is high in ten essential vitamins and minerals, which include iron, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. Among many things, it promotes healthy skin and energy release.

I mix like to mix the powder into my banana, caoco and almond milk shake. It tastes like the most delicious milkshake, but it’s guilt free. To create your ultra healthy green smoothie, I blend the two heaps of the Moringa powder with Kale, spinach, apple and lemon – so nourishing.
