Jo Malone London presents the festive ice rink, Glide, at Battersea Power Station
No festive plans are complete without the excitement of a visit to a dazzling ice rink. Especially in the absence of snow, an ice rink is the perfect place to visit if you want to enjoy some of the winter wonderland atmosphere at this time of year.
Glide is on hand to provide you with some special moments during the holiday period. This brand-new ice rink experience in London captures all the fun of a snow day. It is located beside the newly renovated silhouette of Battersea Power Station and the Glide ice rink is the perfect place to enjoy wintry festivities with family and friends.
Sponsored by one of our favourite brands, Jo Malone London, Glide has a trio of interconnected rinks, which means that you can make the most of a 360-degree view of the 30ft Christmas tree. The tree is decorated with an array of the British fragrance house’s classic cream boxes.
Even if you can’t skate, the ice rink is worth visiting for the atmosphere alone. The seasonal experience continues off the ice, with a bar to warm up in après-skate, as well as a Jo Malone London pop-up store located beside the rink. The pop-up means visitors can explore gifts from the snow day-inspired collection and make the most of some Christmas shopping.
