The sun shone brightly at the Mars Badminton Horse Trials 2024 throughout the day today. The warm rays encouraged a large crowd to gather in front of Badminton House to watch the riders and horses present themselves at the First Horse Inspection.

This is a momentous occasion and, in recent years, there has been an increasing focus on the fashion aspect. While sport is at the heart of Badminton Horse Trials, it is wonderful to see so many riders supporting the fashion brands that feature within the shopping village at the prestigious event.

Our annual Fashion Report highlights some of the key looks that are showcased by the riders.

The crowd loved Zara Tindall’s outfit, with visible nods of approval and applause. Zara opted for a smart tailored jacket in navy, with button detailing on the cuffs.

She paired it with white trousers, beige-framed sunglasses and sensible flats for navigating the trot up in front of a wall of photographers who were eagerly waiting to photograph the royal.

Bubby Upton turned heads for all the right reasons. Her look appeared to be inspired by the same sort of style that we usually see exhibited by the Princess of Wales.

Her stunning green dress was perfect for the balmy evening weather and the design featured a sophisticated collar and belt.

Georgie Goss also looked impeccable in a polka dot dress, which she accessorised with a scarf belt around the waist and dusky pink shoes. Her outfit was Holland Cooper and a last-minute wardrobe change as a result of the bright weather. Holland Cooper also dressed Laura Collett and Felicity Collins.

Georgie was among the many riders who chose to wear stylish sunglasses for the Badminton Horse Trials Trot Up 2024.

Kylie Roddy (pictured above left) opted for a more casual look for the Badminton Horse Trials Trot Up, with ripped white jeans and a long navy trench coat covering a pink shirt.

Pippa Funnell injected some colour onto the catwalk with a vibrant red shirt (pictured above right) and striking knee-high suede boots from Fairfax & Favour.

The gentleman also dressed up for the occasion. Boyd Martin wore a stars and stripes tie in a nod to his home nation. Harry Meade looked dapper in pink chinos and a navy jacket and tie.

Max Warburton and Tom Crisp also stood out in the style stakes for their choice of outfits.
