Skiing is a great way to get over the post Christmas blues and it is that time of year when our thoughts turn to the slopes. Mountain air, clear skies and fresh snow will make for a welcome change to this year’s dull and wet winter. If you want to add a British twist to your ski wardrobe, we have picked some of our favourite tweed purchases that can be worn for apres-ski.

The Aspen by Maude and Fox £390

The Aspen is perfect for throwing on top of your cashmere thermals and heading to the mountain bar, or pairing with skinny jeans when you’re nipping into town on a cold winter’s evening. Made from luxurious angora and lambswool the Aspen is fully lined to keep you nice and warm.

Moncler Sofian Tweed Puffer Jacket £550

If you suffer from the cold this jacket is an essential item for your casual ski wardrobe. Filled with the finest down, it is expertly crafted in Italy from a luxurious wool blend. It has a tweed design and the practical hood will come in handy during a blizzard.

Holland Cooper Fur Trim Tweed Cape £649

It is a case of country chic meets city style with this Holland Cooper cape. Crafted in pure wool tweed, the cape features a racoon fur trim around the neckline. It will look great when worn with skinny jeans and moon boots when on your way to dinner at your favorite mountain restaurant.
