If you’re a fan of horse racing then you are probably eagerly awaiting some of the key events of Sloaney Season, such as Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood. For the serious equine enthusiasts, there is another important date for your diary. Discover Newmarket will once again host a special tour of Cheveley Park Stud. This year it will take place on the 27th of June 2018.

Cheveley Park Stud is renowned as one of the most successful Thoroughbred horse farms in Europe and you can have exclusive access to this private facility for one day only. It is home to eight top class stallions, including Pivotal, Dutch Art, Ulysses, Lethal Force and Twilight Son. The tour includes a behind the scenes look at the facilities, a stallion parade and guests will get to meet some mares and foals along the way.

CHEVELEY PARK STUD

As well as visiting Cheveley Park Stud on this tour, visitors will get to see some of the 3,000 horses training in Newmarket being put through their paces on Warren Hill. There will also be a trip behind-the-scenes at a top Newmarket trainer’s yard.

The tour also includes a visit to the National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art at Palace House, Newmarket, and a two-course lunch at the 2AA Rosette Squires Restaurant at the Bedford Lodge Hotel and Spa.

Spaces are limited and available at £120 per person. Visitors are encouraged to book early, through the website, here: https://bit.ly/2qkLupA or by calling the team: 0344 748 9200.
