If you are tackling the post-Christmas sales in London, you simply must venture to one of The Sloaney’s favourite shopping districts, the King’s Road in Chelsea. Not only is there a great selection of stores, but Sloane Square is home to our much-loved social haunt, The Botanist.

A favourite of local residents and visiting shoppers alike, this venue is always busy. The friendly staff provide a welcoming atmosphere and the well-heeled, fashionable clientele hint that this is one of the top places to be seen in London.

The Botanist - Sloane Square

The Botanist provides a great alternative to a luxury hotel for Afternoon Tea. There is no dress code enforced but a casual chic look or elegant attire is most appropriate in the surroundings.

If you need a little pick me up after browsing the Hugo Boss sale selection in the adjacent store, the Joseph Perrier champagne is perfectly chilled and offers a wonderful accompaniment to the selection of mini-cakes and sandwiches that are provided on a decadent silver stand.

Those ladies who were lucky enough to receive Champagne for Life membership as a Christmas gift can flash their card at the bar to receive a further complementary glass of bubbles.

The festive season may be nearing its end, but don’t let the merry cheer stop just yet.

Afternoon Tea £18 per person; Champagne Afternoon Tea £25 per person; Membership to Champagne for Life £500 per person
