Yellow is the colour of The Social Season as Zara Tindall follows the Princess of Wales
Yellow has played a leading role in the Royal Enclosure this week at Royal Ascot. It is quickly becoming the most fashionable colour of the British Summer Social Season, with both Zara Tindall and the Princess of Wales wearing it this week.
The Princess of Wales dazzled in an incredibly bright shade of the colour on Wednesday. Catherine opted to showcase her custom version of Roksanda’s Brigitte Dress, which is designed in a very vibrant yellow. She paired it with a hat from Jane Tayor London.
Kate has worn the dress several times before for public appearances, including when on tour in Jamaica.
In person, this dress has an almost neon finish. It really stands out from the crowds and it is incredibly eye-catching. It proved a perfect choice for her return to the world-famous horse racing fixture.
Meanwhile, Zara Tindall also opted for a shade of yellow later in the week. She stepped out on Ladies Day wearing a softer version of the colour, but looked just as chic.
Her Rebecca Vallance dress featured a belt at the waist and was paired with a matching hat and metallic shoes.
