Prince William accompanies Queen Camilla during the procession at Royal Ascot 2024
It is known to be one of the most prestigious social events of the British Summer Social Season.
Royal Ascot has a rich history and wonderful relationship with the Royal Family. Every year, it attracts the senior members of the British Royal Family and this year has been no different.
While King Charles is due to attend for most of the event, he was absent on Wednesday. The Queen attended and was joined by the Prince of Wales in the first carriage at the head of the Royal procession.
They smiled and waved at the crowds as they came down the course and through to the parade ring during the daily procession that marks the start of the proceedings.
To the crowd’s delight, Princess Eugenie was present in the second carriage. She was accompanied by her husband Jack Brooksbank and wore a beautiful pink hat for the occassion.
Other popular members of the Royal Family have already been pictured attending Royal Ascot this week, including Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, Zara Tindall and her husband, Mike, Princess Anne and Princess Beatrice.
