January could be considered a brave time to open a restaurant by some, but it seems there was no better month to mark the opening of a refreshing new dining concept known as the Wildflower Café.

We attended the launch party in Notting Hill to film for Sloaney TV and the venue was packed with those eager to sample the atmosphere and cuisine, as part of a healthy January.

Three talented siblings are behind the venture, which focuses on fresh seasonal produce that is locally sourced. This approach is apparent in everything from the hand-tied bouquets and potted plants sold in the gorgeous pavement florist to the interior’s understated upcycled design and the delicious menus.

On the evening of the launch we were offered tasty canapés and bubbles and also managed to catch up with one of the sisters behind the Wildflower Café. Leila shared her excitement about the opening of the venue with our presenter Katie Ann Lamb. You can watch the full interview and our coverage from the Wildflower Café launch on Sloaney TV…

The Wildflower Cafe is located at 108 Chepstow Road. Reservations can be made by telephoning: 02077929594
