Children: Travellers in Their Own Right

Upon arrival, children are immediately involved in the check-in process and receive a special invitation to discover the Kid’s Club, a magical space dedicated to their imagination and learning. The youngest guests are welcomed like true VIPs. In their room, a personalised card and a sweet treat specially prepared for them will be waiting. Each child will receive gifts and surprises perfect for a ski holiday, including slippers, hats, neck warmers, and more.

Services Designed for Families

The hotel’s restaurants also pay special attention to young diners. Children’s menus, both balanced and fun, are available, with the option for kids to customise their dishes. The ski room team, led by Louis and his colleagues, will offer children the best equipment, carefully selected to ensure their comfort and safety on the slopes. To turn this usually tedious moment into a pleasant one, the team has developed a playful approach. Children actively participate in the preparation process by trying on different pairs of shoes and skis while having fun, with the help of the welcoming and patient staff.

Unforgettable Experiences for Children

Every day, creative activities will spark children’s curiosity, with artistic and educational workshops to brighten up their afternoons. For a fun-filled evening, they can enjoy movies and popcorn. During school holidays, the hotel will host dance parties every Friday as well as shows created by the children themselves, to add a festive touch. At Le Coucou Méribel, even the kids have their moment of glory at the bar. From their check-in, they receive tokens to order mocktails with creative flavors, just like the grown-ups, and have the chance to participate in workshops to learn how to make their favourite mocktails.

Fridays at Le Coucou: Medals and Festivities

Every Friday, Piou Piou, the iconic mascot of the French Ski School (ESF), will come to present medals to the young skiers during the champions’ snack, organised outdoors in front of the ski room or at the Kid’s Club, depending on the weather. This joyful tradition will delight the children, immersing them in the mountain adventure.

New for 2024: Cooking Workshops and Gourmet Experiences

Children are invited to discover the joy of cooking through workshops where they can bake sweet treats such as shortbread cookies. These fun and educational moments are the perfect opportunity to awaken the taste buds and develop creativity. To top off each day, a special evening is planned for the little ones with movies, games, and even bowling outings organized by the Kid’s Club.

Le Coucou is the dream destination for memorable family vacations, where every moment is designed to amaze both young and old.
