Scotland has a special place in my heart. My first experience of the country was competing at Blair Castle International Horse Trials with my horse, The Fieldmaster. The event also hosts a country fair and boasts dramatic and captivating scenery. Furthermore, my brother attended the University of Edinburgh, which was a great excuse to visit the city numerous times and earlier this year I enjoyed more Scottish culture during a trip to Raemoir House for our travel pages.

So, when an Atholl Gift Box by The House of Bruar arrived on my desk it brought back many fond memories of the beautiful country. The House of Bruar is known to be one of Scotland’s most prestigious independent stores. Aside from providing some of the best country clothing on the market, there is also a food hall that stocks many delicious products.

During the winter months I love the odd Sloe Gin and I was delighted to see that this is the main feature of the Atholl Gift Box. Champagne truffles, strawberry jam, chocolate and shortbread complete the offering and ensure this is a really lovely gift to receive.

Hampers

The Luxury Hamper and the Blair Atholl Gift Box

There is a good range of gift boxes and hampers to suit individual tastes. One of the most impressive is the Luxury Hamper, which is a best-seller. It includes a whole host of national treats, such Smoked Salmon, Rannoch Smoked Duck Breast, Edinburgh Preserves Farmhouse Chutney and Brodies After Dinner Coffee. Meanwhile, the Bruar Banquet Hamper is the ultimate feast of fine food.

If you share a fondness for Scotland, The House of Bruar hampers or gift boxes are a welcome addition to any home.
