We rubbed shoulders with celebrities, VIPs, and some of the world’s wealthiest as we welcomed in the new decade. But with so many fabulous places to party, we know you couldn’t be everywhere at once. That’s why we’ve rounded up all the best NYE events, to catch you up on what you missed.

Saphir24


We danced the night away at this bistro, lounge and bar, with all-day dining and a DJ. Located at the famed Fairmont Monte Carlo and boasting spectacular sea views, it was one of the best New Year’s Eve parties in Monaco for soaking up the sights.

Buddha-Bar Monte Carlo


An over-sized statue of a Buddha sits in this popular Monaco bar and restaurant, which takes partygoers on a journey east. Buddha-Bar Monte Carlo offered a spectacular New Year’s Eve party in Monaco, complete with an Asian inspired meal and Champagne. Post dinner, we partied the night away with legendary DJs spinning the latest tunes.

Café de Paris Casino Square


As the clock struck 12, the Casino in the Café de Paris on Casino Square was the place to be for gaming enthusiasts. This spectacular venue hosted a wonderful New Year’s Eve party in Monaco, boasting an eclectic atmosphere, dancers, jackpots, DJ, and free-flowing Champagne until midnight. We kick-started the night’s celebrations with a delicious gourmet meal, expertly prepared by the culinary team at the Café de Paris. Just before midnight, we headed out onto the spacious terrace to watch Monaco’s skyline burst into life with spectacular fireworks that lit up the night sky.

Port Hercule


For the very best view of Monaco’s New Year’s Eve fireworks, we headed to Port Hercule, home to some of the world’s most spectacular superyachts, and a fantastic location to see in the New Year. The Monaco City Hall hosted a wonderful evening of music and festivities on the port, dovetailed with all the spectacular festivities of the Christmas Village, which included a wonderful range of chalets selling decorative items and food. The event also featured two DJs, spinning a wide range of tunes that catered to all tastes. The skating rink was open for those that wish to enjoy an evening on the ice. The festivities were capped-off by the firework show at midnight, illuminating the night sky and offering a fabulous New Year’s Eve party in Monaco.

We ensured our last meal of 2019 was a truly spectacular one with gourmet meals at some of Monaco’s most famed fine-dining destinations.


Nobu


Nobu restaurant hosted an extravagant New Year’s Eve Omakase menu with optional Champagne pairings. Located at the famed Fairmont Monte Carlo resort, this exceptional destination boasts a magnificent bar, two exclusive private lounges and a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea – the ideal destination to feast at before heading to a New Year’s Eve party in Monaco.

Le Vistamar


Located in the Hotel Hermitage Monte Carlo, this Michelin-starred restaurant offered a special New Year’s Eve five-course meal with Champagne pairing, coupled with musical entertainment. Headed up by legendary chef Benoit Witz, Le Vistamar offers gourmet cuisine inspired by the Riviera and was a delicious destination for our New Year’s Eve celebration in Monaco.


Salle Belle Epoque


The breathtaking Salle Belle Epoque at the Hotel Hermitage Monte Carlo was transformed on New Year’s Eve into an extravagant gourmet destination. The chefs of the resort created a delicious five-course menu, coupled with musical entertainment to ring in the New Year in style. One of the most luxurious rooms in the principality and a listed monument, this spectacular place provided an extravagant setting for a New Year’s Eve party in Monaco.


Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse


One of the most famous restaurants in the world and the most prestigious in Monaco, the three Michelin-starred Le Louis XV offered a seven-course meal for New Year’s Eve. Located in the Hotel de Paris, the haute couture menu was inspired by the Riviera and the restaurants stunning décor set the tone for a spectacular New Year.
