Ladies Day at this year’s Cheltenham Festival encourages guests to add an injection of colour to their outfits. It may be a wintery meet but visitors should look forward to spring with the #ColourMeMarch theme. The prizes on offer include a brand new mini car. Stylish ladies will be selected from the crowd and can also enter the competition directly in the Ladies Day marquee.

We have some ideas for how to brighten up your outfit in our Cheltenham Ladies Day Style Guide. Remember to stay warm as the weather can make it a chilly day…

For a subtle splash of colour, think about embracing the theme through your accessories. We adore this turquoise trilby by Rachel Trevor Morgan (£POA)…

Add a pop of purple to your outfit with these striking shoes from River Island (£40)…

This over-sized scarf from ASOS (£18) incorporates lots of different colours…

If you’re planning on wearing a trousersuit or a skirt and top, you may want to break up your outfit with a belt from Peachy Belts. This red cowhide one is perfect for the Cheltenham theme (£52)…

Staying with red, we adore this crimson wool dress by Catherine Walker & Co (£POA), which is a brand that offers outstanding tailoring…
