The two-day Dubai Future Champions Festival returns to Newmarket’s Rowley Mile on Friday, 12th October and Saturday, 13th October, bringing with it amazing entertainment, top class racing and a host of exciting activities and experiences for racegoers this Gold Season at the Home of Horseracing.

Friday welcomes the return of Autumn Ladies Day, featuring the popular Style Awards, sponsored by the Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel. Female racegoers are asked to put their most fashionable feet forward and dress to impress for their chance to win thousands of pounds worth of prizes in this free-to-enter, on-course competition.

Adding an additional touch of sparkle this year, Newmarket Racecourses are launching a new initiative for Autumn Ladies Day, the Friday Fizz promotion. This one-day only offer allows racegoers to bring a bottle of champagne, prosecco or sparkling wine into the racecourse during Friday 12th, up to an hour before the first race.

On the track on the Friday, racegoers will witness a host of amazing racing, including the Group 1 feature, the bet365 Fillies’ Mile, one of the richest Group 1 two-year-old races in Europe. Racing continues at the same high level on the Saturday with Britain’s most prestigious race for juvenile horses, the Group 1 Darley Dewhurst Stakes takes centre stage as the feature race of the day. Another highlight that is not to be missed is the Dubai £500,000 Cesarewitch Handicap. Dubbed ‘the Grand National of the Flat’, this thrilling race makes up the second half of the historic Autumn Double.

Alongside the quality racing there will be FREE entertainment on-course across both days, including numerous bars and restaurants as well as the Virtual Reality Experience, where racegoers can feel what it’s like to skydive off the iconic Burj Khalifa. The popular Retraining of Racehorses parade will also be on course before the first race on Saturday and provides the opportunity to showcase some of the amazing talents and the versatility of these beautiful animals.

This year will also see the return of the Flavours of Dubai for the third consecutive year; this pop up experience allows racegoers to try out delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. Flavours of Dubai is FREE for all to enter and sample the dishes on offer and will be open from 12.30pm and sits adjacent to the Parade Ring.

All lucky racegoers attending Dubai Future Champions Festival this year will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a holiday to Dubai. This prize includes a 5-night stay at the five-star hotel Anantara The Palm for two people, including transfers and two excursions. The lucky winner will be contacted after the last race on Saturday 13 October.

Newmarket’s official after party will be on hand to keep the party going after the horses go home, with The Hares taking to the stage after the last race on Friday and Radio DJ Charlie Hedges from Kiss FM will host Après Racing alongside ITV2 Love Island star, Wes Nelson on the Saturday.

With 1.8 million daily radio listeners, Charlie Hedges is also fast becoming a formidable and in-demand name on the dance music scene. Wes Nelson is a 20-year old Nuclear System Design Engineer from Staffordshire who became a household name when ITV2’s Love Island burst back onto screens this summer. Wes will be hosting the Après Racing and will be on hand for meet and greets on the Saturday!
