Sunday Champagne Brunch at the Hyatt Regency London
We were definitely in the mood for a lazy Sunday earlier this month when we visited the Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill for brunch. However, it wasn’t just any lazy Sunday and it wasn’t just any brunch. Far from it; we walked across Hyde Park in glorious sunshine and arrived at Portman Square for the hotel’s renowned Champagne Sunday Brunch.
The Churchill certainly impresses in the luxury stakes and this five star destination has a welcoming, open-plan reception area that includes a grand fireplace and beautiful art work. A live band also takes up residence on a Sunday to entertain those enjoying the incredible array of food.
The hotel is part of the Hyatt’s Regency collection and the refined décor, welcoming atmosphere and quality of dining are all prominent highlights. However, the allure for many Sunday visitors is the unlimited champagne that is available to all guests opting to enjoy brunch.
It is not just the champagne that is in endless supply and you can also eat as much food as you desire. The cold buffet features meats, cheeses and antipasti dishes, as well as every salad you can imagine. For those who prefer a full English breakfast, the hot food counter offers all the usual dishes. Traditional roasts and fresh fish also feature. The desserts and cheese boards are fabulous and a strong rival to Afternoon Tea.
The brunch really does tick all the boxes if you are looking for a lavish occasion to round off your weekend. It is perfect to enjoy with your partner or a group of friends, but make sure you book in advance to guarantee a table.
The Champagne Sunday Brunch in The Montagu is served every Sunday between 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM. It includes unlimited Marcel Pierre champagne, Premium Wines and soft drinks, at £65.00 per adult. Reservations can be made by calling + 44(0) 20 7299 2037. More details can be found here.
