Color Wow launch brings haircare to a new level
An event to announce the new Color Wow Creative Consultant, Ken Paves, was recently held in one of The Soho Hotel’s prestigious penthouse suites. It was a truly wonderful affair with the renowned hairstylist to the stars in attendance.
Color Wow creator Gail Federici has produced a revolutionary range that promises coloured hair protection like never before. The fun night involved hair demonstrations from some top stylists, including Kevin Moss, Color Wow’s Artistic Director. As the Champagne flowed, Moss and his team of experts used the range of styling products to demonstrate the difference between the tense frizz of natural hair and the smooth styling of the Color Wow collection.
The most stunning product being demonstrated at the launch was the root cover up, an eye shadow-esque product that adheres to the hair and covers up unsightly roots. Amazingly, it’s entirely waterproof and will only disappear once washed with shampoo. Available in an array of colours, the product even hides very dark hair under a platinum blonde powder. The product is perfect for keeping hair colour topped up between hairdresser appointments, and even covers grey hairs without a trace.

Attendee of the night, Ken Paves, was an absolute gentleman. He acts as ColorWow’s Creative Consultant, whilst juggling a busy career handling the hair of the likes of Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Simpson. Ken’s response, when asked what critical hair care advice he would give, was that women should go for what they want regardless of what other people think. (Wet to dry hair straightening was also not recommended, on a more practical note).
Having used the products for the week following the event, The Sloaney can recommend the products as being worth their while.
