‘Bubbles and Beauty’ with Finest Fizz and Michaeljohn
When we were invited to an evening of ‘Bubbles and Beauty’ in one of London’s top salons, we simply couldn’t say no. The flagship Michaeljohn salon opened its sparkling doors to welcome guests to a champagne and canapé reception that included a briefing of the latest treatments that will be available in the run up to the party season.

The bubbles were courtesy of ‘Skinny’ Rose Champagne by Finest Fizz, which a unique tipple that tastes just a good as the established labels but has significantly less calories per glass (50 to be exact!). With a glass of the diet-conscious champagne in hand, we were given a tour of the treatment rooms. They are spacious and very peaceful, which is partly due to the basement location.
The Hydra-Facial is one of the most popular experiences at the moment and is brilliant for giving your skin an extra boost as we make the transition through the seasons and start to face harsher weather. The knowledgeable consultant, Gemma, talked us through some tips for looking after your skin at this time of year and explained that diet can play a big part in controlling breakouts, with plenty of fresh greens crucial for helping to regulate your skin.
