Ski Special: New Hotel Opens on the Bellecôte piste

Every year, new offerings are available for skiers to explore. This winter, Maisons Pariente opens the doors of Saint Roch, its fifth address in France and second in the Alps. Perched on the Bellecôte piste at the foot of the slopes and steps from the village centre, this alpine refuge offers privileged access to the famed 3 Vallées, one of the largest ski areas in the world.
With a ski shop onsite, each departure and return is made effortless, with equipment and fittings handled in-house. Beyond skiing, the concierge shapes the days around each guest: dogsledding through the forest, snowmobiling after dark, a helicopter flight over the peaks, or dinner served high on the mountain. Whether guests come to ski hard or simply to experience French mountain living, Saint Roch arranges their escape around them.
The hotel has 37 rooms and suites and includes Superior, Deluxe and Prestige rooms. The suites open into full living spaces and can adapt to a couple, a family, or a whole winter’s stay. On the fifth floor, two Prestige Suites can be booked on their own, their interconnecting spaces framing the mountain through every window. Together with three adjoining rooms, they make up the Penthouse, the entire top floor reserved for a single family or group.
The hotel bar is made for the hours between the slopes and dinner, a welcoming space with warm, golden light, deep seating and cocktails built for balance rather than show. Younger guests are also well-looked after, with the Kids Club welcoming children into a world of their own, a space where they can find their own rhythm and freedom.
At the spa, the atmosphere draws on Ottoman hammams and Caucasian palaces, creating a soft, tranquil space for guests to relax after a day spent out on the mountain. Complete with an indoor pool, marble mosaic shower designed by Pierre Mesguich, light-filled fitness space and quiet room, the spa also offers treatments by Tata Harper, known for its high-performance natural skincare.
