The Princess of Wales dazzles in sunshine yellow at Royal Ascot 2026
Royal Ascot is one of the main events of the British Summer Social Season. It is attended by high society, celebrities and thousands of racing supporters.
The Princess of Wales was certainly the star guest on Wednesday. She impressed the crowds in a beautiful sunshine yellow outfit at Royal Ascot. The brightness of the yellow was spectacular and widely admired by those who gathered to applaud as she arrived with Prince William in the parade ring.
The Prince and Princess of Wales were travelling in the second carriage and followed HM The King and Queen Camilla.
A highlight of the day was the Prince of Wales’s Stakes, which was won by Ombudsman, who ran an inspiring race. A star of the Godolphin stables, Ombudsman is the first horse to win the contest twice since it was classified as a Group One race.

The Royal Enclosure was home to eye-catching fashion, with guests wearing some beautiful designer creations as they sipped vintage Moet champagne.
