Scrumptious chocolates

GODIVA is a favourite with most ladies who have a sweet tooth. The good news is that they have launched a new web shop and to celebrate they have a lovely new chocolate collection, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The selection of treats has been designed by the talented Parisian artist, Nathalie Lété.

Romantic Cocktails

For those who want to enjoy a romantic drink, the Met Bar is offering a collection of delicious Valentine’s Day cocktails to share with your beau. From Love Hearts to roses, the mixologist’s concoctions will lower your inhibitions and get you in the mood for romance.

Bam-Bou is also offering lovers and singletons alike their newly devised cocktails… a selection of Love Potions! They include the Ever After Elixer, Lovers’ Liquor, Cupid’s Kiss and Rocket Fuel. Susie Johns, the celebrated mystic, will also be at the restaurant in person for one-on-one Tarot Card readings on three consecutive Tuesdays in February.

Delicious Dinner

Michelin-starred Alyn Williams at The Westbury, which is in the heart of chic and stylish Mayfair, has created a seven-course menu containing flavours to tantalise and surprise this Valentine’s Day. Decadent dishes include: poached and roasted guinea fowl; confit cod with white beans; capellini with truffles; and apple tarte tatin with vanilla ice cream. The Valentine’s menu is £90 per person and available for two dinner service sittings. To reserve your table call 020 7183 6426.

Beautiful Art

Gifting someone special some beautiful art is incredibly romantic and the Belgravia Gallery have some stunning pieces available. These include Robert Indiana, ‘LOVE’ (£4,950), which is a signed limited edition lithograph print with letterpress. This print is also available in the red, yellow, blue and black colourway. A favourite of ours is the Lesley Thiel, ‘Alter Ego’ (£22,000). Lesley Thiel is a renowned Equestrian artist who devotes herself to capturing the distinctive charisma and power of horses.

Pink Bubbles

Eagle-eyed Champagne drinkers will have noticed our recent news about Billecart-Salmon launching a special gift for those purchasing one of their bottles for Valentine’s Day. In addition to the bottle, customers will also receive a half bottle of their Brut Rose as part of the A Love of Bubbles promotion.

Hotel Stays

The Metropolitan Hotel in Mayfair has an exclusive Valentine’s Day package with a total value of £12,000. The Swept Off Your Feet package is the epitome of luxury offering a variety of bespoke experiences including a private shopping appointment with Browns, a beautiful pair of silk and lace Brazilian knickers from lingerie brand Myla and a honeymoon at our new Miami and Turks and Caicos hotels for the couple who want an unforgettable romantic experience.

Another option for a hotel stay is the extravagant ‘A Royal Romance’ by Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The journey begins with the delivery of a single red rose, followed by a chauffeur driven car to the hotel. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed by the remaining 11 red roses in the opulent Royal Suite. The couple can then enjoy a bottle of champagne, £150 worth of indulgent room service and a relaxing in-room couple’s massage. The following morning, guests can enjoy a traditional English breakfast for two in the award-winning Rib Room Bar & Restaurant.
