Floral Elegance: Exclusive preview of the Yull Shoes SS14 Collection
The last time we thought about spring was back in September during London Fashion Week. Our Fashion Editor gave us a brilliant run down of next season’s trends, but since then we must admit that we have half closed the book on this brighter time of year. After all, cold weather, darker evenings and the first inklings of Christmas have left us thinking about all things warm and snug!
However, spring is never too far away and we became very excited when Yull Shoes approached us wanting to give readers of The Sloaney an exclusive preview of their ‘Bloomin’ Marvellous’ collection. Not only are we pleased to give you the first chance to glance over the new range but we have also been totally captivated by the styles.
For spring 2014, Yull have focused on the much-loved floral trend that was prevalent on the catwalks of Mary Katrantzou, Erdem and Dior. They have used the flower power look as inspiration for their latest creations and have designed a capsule collection called ‘Chelsea Flowers’.
This is a particular favourite with The Sloaney team as it has been inspired by the famous Chelsea Flower Show. As with the flower show, the colour palette has a delicate offering of soft pinks, greens and nudes. The detail of the shoes is also feminine and chic.
The collection is not all about florals and the ‘Cheltenham’ range caters for those who like classic kitten heels, while the ‘Mayfair’ selection focuses on court shoes. These traditional styles have been brightened up for the new season.
The S/S 14 ’Bloomin’ Marvellous’ collection is priced £195 and will be available online at www.yull.co.uk and at independent stockists across the UK. Stockists information can be found on the website www.yull.co.uk/stockists
