On Monday evening The Sloaney team were invited to attend the exclusive global launch of BMW’s new electric car, the BMW i3. The fully-electric BMW i3 with eDrive is considered “an uncompromisingly sustainable vehicle designed for urban areas”. The worldwide premiere of this progressive and dynamic new car was hosted in the City of London, with Tower Bridge providing a dramatic backdrop.

Some of the world’s top celebrities gathered to toast the occasion and the likes of Sienna Miller, James Franco, Donna Air, Poppy Delevingne and Amber Le Bon graced the blue carpet. Champagne corks popped as the movers and shakers of Britain’s social scene and the media world waited on the edge of their seats for the big unveiling.

We are thrilled to bring our readers some exclusive footage from inside the grand party. Tune in here to watch the Worldwide Premiere of the BMW i3 on Sloaney TV

We also have a run down of the celebrity style on show at the event and you can get the look by clicking on our suggested key pieces below…

Laura Whitmore

The lovely Laura Whitmore was like a ray of sunshine in her bright yellow dress by Motel Rocks and gave us an exclusive on where to buy her outfit. While this dress has sold out, we have discovered a similar piece by one of our favourite brands Issa. Laura’s accessories were from high street stores Zara and Kurt Keiger.

Peaches Geldof opted for monochrome with a touch of rock star. Her stripey top looked great under the leather jacket and her trusty Chanel handbag was casually worn over her shoulder for most of the evening.

Sienna Miller kept it simple and sweet with a floral Dolce and Gabanna summer dress.

Meanwhile, Cara Delevingne’s sister Poppy went slightly retro with a denim shirt and bright red lips. We loved how she layer the top over an all black jumpsuit.

Amber Le Bon chose an autumnal colour scheme. Her bag was one of her favourite old Prada pieces.

Laura Bailey looked every inch the fashionista, pairing some key separates to create this striking look. We particularly like the tone of her dress.

Editors Style

Our Editor Laura Toogood and Deputy Editor Halle Carlson attended the event. Both opted for predominantly black, with Halle pairing a Zimmerman playsuit with nude wedges. Laura went for a sequin jacket and tailored shorts, with a touch of turquoise also evident in her look.
