The Parallax Art Fair returns to Chelsea Old Town Hall
The Parallax Art Fair is returning for its fourth installment in Chelsea Old Town Hall. The event will run from Wednesday 16th of May until Friday 18th of May and will showcase over 200 emerging and established artists.
The Parallax Art Fair is the largest “curated” international artist art fair in Europe and features exhibitors from over 30 countries, who are mainly unrepresented. It offers artists who already have a reputation in their own country the opportunity to explore the international market. Diverse works of art will be on show, ranging from surrealist-like paintings and sculpture to quirky pieces of fish and even blades of grass.
Highlights of the latest edition include a 10ft-high anti-war memorial with sculpted bronze dogs and skulls, along with a video work about child brides by the young British Asian artist, Shammi Begum.
The dates and times of the event are as follows: Wednesday 16th May, 11am – 7pm; Thursday 17th May, 11am – 8pm (Jazz: 6pm-8pm); Friday 18th May, 11am – 5pm. Entry: £2 for the entire duration of the fair with 50% being donated to A21 charity. Chelsea Old Town Hall is located on the King’s Road, SW3 5EE.
