Enjoy Pimms and ballads in the seclusion of the enchanting Cadogan Place Gardens
As part of the Open Garden Squares weekend that commences on Saturday the 9th of June, Cadogan Estates will welcome visitors by offering exclusive access to the secluded and historic Cadogan Square Garden and Cadogan Place Gardens.
The Cadogan Place Gardens were formerly known as the London Botanic Gardens and hosts 8.5 hectares of horticultural wonders. They are discreetly hidden behind gates on Sloane Street; however, next weekend visitors can enjoy unrivalled access to the usually private gardens.
Whilst browsing the gardens, guests can listen to authentic 1950’s songs performed by The Milkshakers. Quintessentially British picnic treats are also being prepared for the special occasion by the luxurious Cadogan Hotel. A pop-up food bar will serve delicate finger sandwiches, afternoon tea and Pimm’s on the lawn.
Tickets are available for £9 online from www.opensquares.org or £12 from the gate. Single admission to one garden is £3 and children under 12 go for free. The gardens will open from 10am – 5pm on Saturday 9 June and Sunday 10 June 2012.
