Hide away from the rain in a sophisticated and snug setting at Naga Cocktail Bar
If you are busy finishing your Christmas shopping this evening or over the weekend and happen to be near Kensington, we have discovered a lovely oriental bar and restaurant on Abingdon Road. Naga is a cosy and chic setting to enjoy an early evening festive drink.
The cocktail list boasts a number of treats, including the ‘Tri-Smashed’, which was created by the co-owner, Tri van Dang, and is unique to Naga. Those of you who follow The Sloaney on Twitter will already have seen some snaps of this enticing concoction. It presents a delicious tropical mix of vodka, lychee juice and lemongrass and has rocketed to top spot in our list of favourite London cocktails. Among other highlights on the menu is the champagne and pear infused version, which provides another refreshing choice for those who want to enjoy a hint of bubbles in the run up to Christmas.
The bar itself offers an intimate area for drinks with a small group of friends and would be an ideal place to meet for the start of an evening out in this plush area of London. An extensive wine list and selection of bottled beer is available for those who are not cocktail fans. The restaurant is discreetly hidden towards the back of the bar and stretches out to provide a spacious area of those wanting to enjoy a meal. The menu is diverse and has strong influences from Vietnam and its neighbouring countries.
Naga is a hidden secret among the busy streets of Kensington and marries a sense of sophistication with the feeling of being snug. It is a perfect place to hide away from the wet weather in the run up to Christmas.
