Beauty Treat of the Week: Glossy hair for autumn with Richard Ward’s ‘Seasons’
If you spent the summer abroad holidaying on beautiful beaches and relaxing in brilliant sunshine, returning to the British weather has probably been a shock to the system. Even if you haven’t experienced a change of climate recently, the cool and wet October weather can play havoc with our skin and hair. However, as autumn arrived, the wonderful Richard Ward, who is responsible for looking after the Duchess of Cambridge’s glossy locks, released the ‘Seasons Autumn Restore Treatment Programme’, in order to help revive and protect our hair.
The treatment is specifically designed to aid in coping with the present weather conditions and the kit comprises three products that are presented in airport friendly packaging.
The Ultra Recovery Shampoo allows you to gently wash and revive your hair. Rather than use a speedy conditioner to follow, the kit comes with a Post-Holiday Rescue Masque that can be applied and left for five to ten minutes. This contains a Keratin Protein Complex, Argan Oil and 18-MEA to mimic the natural proteins that your hair could be lacking at this time of year. Leaving this masque on for an extended period of time allows the follicles to absorb all of the necessary components.
The final stage of the treatment is to apply the Repair Drops. There are ideal for giving the tips of your hair some extra TLC. You can either use them on wet hair or add a thin layer to a dried style; the latter will ensure a shiny finish.
This mini-kit is ideal if you want to give your hair some salon treatment in the comfort of your own home. The Sloaney team found it left our hair feeling silky and light, as well as extra glossy for any autumn sunshine.
