Over the next two weeks ‘The Mini Edit’ is hosting engaging events and activities at their childrenswear pop-up shop in Knightsbridge.

The Mini Edit is a newly launched online multi-brand childrenswear concept store. It is a mother and daughter partnership, designed to cater to fashion conscious parents and gift buyers. Daughter, Jessica King, has seven years’ experience in branded buying and merchandising; more recently, specialising in childrenswear and running the kids and toys division at Selfridges. Jessica says “’We’ve always dreamed of creating a space where our customers could hang out in a cool environment, with space to chill as a family and where shopping with and for their kids was an incredible experience rather than a traumatic one, as it so often can be!”

On Tuesday 11th August join the team for ‘Bubbles & Nibbles’ on opening night and peruse the impressive list of brands in store. With events running everyday for two weeks through to the 24th this creative kids company know how to stand out from the crowd, curating an engaging schedule of events for the whole family. From photography classes and skateboard workshops to swaddling master-classes, baby massage and kids yoga.

I’ve picked out a couple of highlights for you…

  • ‘And Chillax Baby Massage’ Eva Levinson, accredited by the Royal College of Midwives, hosts an intimate one hour session on baby massage. I found baby massage invaluable when my daughter was a newborn. It helps both mother and baby relax in those foggy months and we still enjoy it now, although she is much more wriggly.
  • ‘Mum on the Run’ – Blow-dry Masterclass. For busy mums make sure you don’t miss this with the creative director from Anita Lawrence. Wouldn’t we all like to know how to achieve that salon blow-dry at home? There is also a ‘Mum on the Run’ – Makeup Masterclass by Facebar.
  • ‘Realising the Pregnancy Advantage’ join Lisa Barnwell, Founder of Bumps and the Boardroom for a healthy debate about embracing the pregnancy journey and transition to motherhood. Top tips on blending your professional next steps with being a parent.

There’s late night shopping evenings and movie marathons too. The Mini Edit pop-up promises to create an incredible shopping experience for families who love fashion. There will be something happening in the space every day and you do not want to miss out. To check the full schedule of events and register complimentary tickets you just need to log on to WWW.THE-MINI-EDIT.COM

The pop up will be open for two weeks only, from the 11th – 24th August at 19 Beauchamp Place, London SW3 1NQ. The opening hours are 10am-8pm Mon-Sat and 10am-6pm Sun. The full event schedule is available on WWW.THE-MINI-EDIT.COM where a limited number of complimentary tickets can be reserved.
