While our Bride-To-Be Diary has now been completed after Natasha Eddery walked down the aisle at the beautiful Villa San Michele in Tuscany, wedding fever may have only just begun for some. If you are recently engaged, you will be interested to read about the launch of the Quintessentially Weddings Atelier. The event takes place over two days next month and will bring the world’s finest wedding artisans together.

Guests can attend by appointment only and will be given the opportunity to view the most luxurious products, couture designs, fine jewels and innovate wedding gastronomy. The showcase takes place from the 26th to the 27th of October and is being hosted at the beautiful Robert Adam Georgian Townhouse, located at 29 Portland Place.

Iconic fashion house Oscar de la Renta will be making their debut onto the London show scene at the Atelier with a selection of beautiful gowns from their bridal collections. They will be revealing their Fall 2014 collection for the very first time and will also showcase next year’s Spring designs. A selection of gowns from other world class designers will also be paraded, including Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier, Johanna Johnson, Valentino, Peter Langner and Marchesa in association with Browns Bride. Tiffany & Co will present a pop-up version of their New York emporium alongside archival pieces, including a diamond brooch given to Elizabeth Taylor by Richard Burton.

Not only will guests be able to admire some top luxury creations but there will also be a selection of interactive master classes and workshops. Quintessentially Vodka will be mixed by The Connaught Hotel’s world champion mixologist, and canapés and tasters will be provided by legendary department store Harrods, as they debut their gourmet catering. Royal photographer Hugo Burnand and Royal Wedding cake maker Fiona Cairns will be on hand to add a regal touch to proceedings.

Winston Churchill’s beautiful stately home, Blenheim Palace, will collaborate with artisan stationers Cutture to create a 3D theatrical set. Upstairs, hidden in an intimate boudoir, Agent Provocateur will introduce their latest collections and lead talks on the Trousseau – the ‘hope chest’ received by a bride upon her marriage overflowing with gems, lacy sweet nothings and ball gowns to entertain in.

Quintessentially Weddings Atelier takes place on 26th – 27th October 2013 from 10am – 6pm. It will be hosted at 29 Portland Place, London. Tickets are complimentary. Places are limited. For further information and to register visit www.quintessentiallyweddings.com/atelier
