Last night, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in one of her most show-stopping dresses to date. Arriving at an event in the Royal Albert Hall to mark the count down to the London Olympic Games, Catherine looked simply stunning in a beautiful Jenny Packham gown.
Although her enviable, glossy locks are normally a key focus of her attire, the Duchess made the rare choice to showcase an ‘up-do’. And when you see the back of her dress, it is clear why she wanted to show it off to its absolute best. Stunning lace delicately covered her shoulders and button detail, which evoked memories of Pippa Middleton’s bridesmaid dress, traced her spine.
Jenny Packham is one of Catherine’s favourite designers and her dramatic, yet elegant creations are perfect for a big occasion. The ‘Ready to Wear’ collection can be viewed in the Mayfair boutique, meanwhile a limited number of accessories have become available to purchase online.
We particularly like the Acacia Bracelet (£250) in royal blue, which was inspired by 1930s Paris and vintage jewels. The Acacia Belt (£395) is just as desirable and offers a glamorous way to draw attention to your waist.
