With the Olympics now just a fond memory and the Paralympics in full swing, we will shortly arrive at the end of a fantastic summer of sport. If you are feeling a little deflated following the competitive atmosphere that has swept the capital, The Terrace at Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel has just announced the launch of The Belgravia Games, which will take place from the 7th to the 9th of September.
The spacious outdoor area at this luxury hotel will be transformed with oversized games and a specially created Sloane’s Gin infused menu that will be served throughout the weekend.
If you are busy browsing the shops in Knightsbridge, this retreat provides a perfect escape from the crowds. You can rest in the secluded courtyard, where guests can relax enjoying a number of favourite childhood games. To help bring out the competitive spirit, giant versions of Connect 4, Kerplunk, Jenga and a Mega Buzz Wire will provide hours of fun for friends and family.
The accompanying gin infused menu has been specially created by The Terrace’s head chef, Martin Gabler, in partnership with Sloane’s Gin. Hand-crafted using individually distilled botanicals and fresh citrus fruits, Sloane’s Gin makes a delicious addition to the summery menu.
Food highlights include the pork fillet with juniper berry and black pepper crust in gin and coriander sauce, or the pan-fried sea bass flambéed in gin, with herb butter sauce, basil pesto tomatoes and sautéed spinach. The gin and tonic sorbet will offer a refreshing end to your meal and is served with fresh raspberries.
A complimentary Sloane’s Gin & Tonic will be offered to the first 25 arrivals each day who bring a voucher available to download from www.facebook.com/JumeirahLowndesHotel or www.facebook.com/SloanesGin. If you miss out, bring the voucher to claim a Gin & Tonic for the special price of £4.00.
