The concept of 24 hour dining reminds us of New York City. However, it is not just the Big Apple that enables you to grab a bite round-the-clock as VQ initiated the craze on the streets of London many years ago.

VQ has been feeding and watering Chelsea’s finest for 18 years and it also has another fantastic restaurant that serves those parting into the small hours in central London. The venue on Great Russell Street has a bar area and is only a short distance from Mayfair, Soho and buzzing Charlotte Street.

Laurent Perrier is the house champagne and VQ offers it in both normal sized bottles as well as mini bottles. When we visited the destination, a mini-bottle was too hard to resist and great welcome. Although the main USP for VQ is the 24 hour dining and fantastic atmosphere it provides when you hang up your dancing shoes, it also serves a great brunch menu.

The legendary all-day (and night!) breakfast features everything from Bubble ’n’ Squeak to Eggs Benedict and delicious traditional breakfast dishes such as porridge. However, for those who like to enjoy something even heartier when nursing a sore head, there is also a selection of burgers, pastas and other main courses and sharing plates.

Whether you are leaving the likes of Raffles in Chelsea or coming down from the top of the Centre Point Building after enjoying London’s skyline at Paramount, VQ is a great place to end your evening. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed and very informal. The full Late Night Refreshment Licence means they never have to close and your night out with friends need not to come to a premature end.
