Boasting awards such as British Hairdressing’s Men’s Hairdresser of the Year (2009,2011) and Celebrity Hairdresser of the Year (2010), as well as a portfolio to boot, we Londoners are very happy that he has moved into our neighbourhood.
Discreetly tucked away from other mainstream salons, Jamie has expanded his award-winning Somerset salon empire to Russell Gardens in Kensington. Jamie is accompanied by a host of award winning hairdressers, colourists, and extension experts. The interior of the Jamie Stevens sleek salon is modern and glossy, but still extremely welcoming. There are twelve chairs and two stories, keeping service very personal. Downstairs is due to house a dedicated colour bar, as well as a beauty area for facials, manis, pedis and eventually treatments such as Botox, for a one-stop spruce-up.

Pop into Jamie Stevens for a treatment and I ensure you will receive great personal service and ultimate relaxation. My favourite feature was hidden behind a black fringed drapery towards the back of the salon; namely, the massage chairs at the wash basin. A completely unexpected touch, these proved to be extremely enticing and effective. I was very happy when the staff left me to doze a little longer when I asked for extra time after my rinse.

The quality in the looks and team at this salon are reflected by the results of the service. My colour was exactly as I’d requested and no more was trimmed off than I was comfortable with. The Jamie Stevens team listens and takes on board what you want. They do their utmost to respect your wishes, whist adding their professional opinion.
